YOUR PRIVACY
Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 4, 2026
This policy explains how Match Sides, developed by Ofri Yehuda, handles information in the iPhone game and on this website.
Your game progress
The iPhone game stores levels, stars, scores, coins, Energy, settings and reward history on your device. You can play without an account, and the core game works offline. After optional Apple sign-in, you can enable cloud backup in Settings. Backups contain your saved game, settings and purchase receipt history and are stored in our Supabase project in Ireland, Europe. Signing in alone does not replace or upload your local save. You choose whether to back up this iPhone or restore a cloud save; restoring replaces local progress. Each device keeps its own backup slot.
Optional Apple account
Builds that include the Apple sign-in button let you optionally create an account using Sign in with Apple. Apple verifies your identity and Supabase processes your Apple account identifier, email address or private relay address, authentication tokens and service security logs. Our Supabase project is hosted in Ireland, Europe. Session credentials are stored in the iPhone Keychain. You can sign out in the game’s Settings. “Delete account” asks you to confirm with Apple, revokes the app’s Apple authorization, and deletes your account, cloud saves and optional diagnostics. The game saved on this iPhone is kept. Apple purchases are managed by Apple. Apple is the only supported account sign-in provider.
Daily Challenges
Daily Challenges require Sign in with Apple and an internet connection. Our server in Ireland stores your account identifier, a generated game alias, daily attempt status, start and finish times, completion time and reward records to validate results, rank players and deliver prizes. Moves are sent to the server to validate your attempt. The leaderboard shows generated aliases, ranks and completion times to signed-in players; it does not show your Apple name or email. These records are kept while your account exists and are deleted when you delete your account. Prizes are in-game coins with no cash value.
Advertising and privacy choices
The iPhone app integrates Google AdMob and Google’s User Messaging Platform. Ads may process your IP address and approximate location, device or app identifiers, ad views and interactions, and diagnostic or performance information. These are used to deliver and measure ads, prevent fraud and maintain the service. The current app requests non-personalized ads and does not request access to Apple’s advertising identifier through a tracking permission prompt. Non-personalized ads can still use data for these purposes.
Where required, a consent message appears before eligible advertising requests. You can revisit your choices through “Ad privacy choices” in Settings when available. Declining consent does not block the core game; ads or ad-based rewards may be unavailable. TestFlight builds use Google’s test ad units.
Read Google’s Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from apps and sites. Google may process information on servers outside your country under its published privacy terms.
Purchases and notifications
When in-app purchases are available, Apple handles payment details. The app may store verified transaction identifiers and entitlements to grant purchases correctly; we do not receive your card details. TestFlight purchases use Apple’s sandbox and do not charge real money. App Store builds use normal Apple purchases. Consumable coins are not restored by Apple after they are consumed; Remove Ads can be restored and is rechecked for refunds or revocation.
Ads Free Annual is an optional auto-renewable subscription. The app checks verified Apple transactions to determine whether the subscription is active and to restore access. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings. Existing lifetime Remove Ads purchases remain restorable.
Game reminders are optional local notifications, scheduled on your device after you grant permission. They do not require a push-notification account or sharing your notification token with us. Choose reminder categories in Settings → Notifications or turn them off in the game or iPhone Settings. Reminders are scheduled only at 09:00, 12:00 or 16:00 in your local time zone; later reminders wait until the next morning.
Optional gameplay and diagnostics
“Share gameplay & diagnostics” is off by default. When enabled and signed in, the app sends basic level events and Apple MetricKit crash, hang and performance reports to our Supabase project in Ireland. Reports are linked to your game account and may include app version, operating-system and device information, technical call stacks and performance measurements. Reports do not include your email, advertising identifier, authentication tokens or complete game save. They help us find bugs and improve the game. Local pending reports expire after seven days; server reports are removed after 30 days through regular cleanup. Turn sharing off to stop future uploads and clear pending reports, or delete your account to remove stored reports.
Website and support
This website is hosted by Vercel. Hosting requests can include IP addresses, browser details, requested URLs and security logs needed to deliver and protect the site. The website does not currently add advertising or analytics trackers. The browser puzzle keeps its active game in the browser.
If you contact us, we use the information you provide to answer your request. Please do not include passwords, payment-card details or other sensitive information. We retain correspondence only as needed to handle the request and applicable obligations.
Your control
You can manage ad choices in the app and notification permissions in iPhone Settings. Local game data remains until it is removed from the device; deleting the app can remove local progress, and device backups are controlled by Apple. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict personal information, object to its use, withdraw consent, or complain to your local data protection authority. Contact us to make a request; for data held independently by Google or Apple, use their privacy controls as well.
Children
Match Sides is not directed at children under 13, or the higher minimum age where applicable. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through support. Please contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information so we can address it.
